  • Founder and current deputy director of the Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Center, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia.
  • The first surgeon in Thailand to introduce the resorbable plate and screw system in 2002.
  • A pioneer in using 3D printing technology for plastic surgery as early as 2001, in collaboration with Professor Charan Mahatumarat.
  • A leader in modernizing the Thai Cleft Lip-Palate and Craniofacial Association by implementing a comprehensive member database, launching a national resource website, creating innovative academic programs, and authoring the first national guideline for the care of cleft patients (TCCC).
  • The first Thai surgeon to be elected President of the Asian Pacific Craniofacial Association, a premier international organization in the field.

Scope of Work

His expertise in reconstructive surgery covers a wide range of conditions and procedures, including:

  • Craniofacial deformities (e.g., cleft lip, cleft palate, congenital anomalies, trauma).
  • Facial injuries (e.g., complex wounds, fractures).
  • Skin cancers (e.g., melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma).
  • Breast surgery (e.g., for breast masses, post-cancer reconstruction).
  • Ear reconstruction (e.g., after trauma, for microtia).

Cosmetic Surgery

Outstanding Work

In the realm of cosmetic surgery, Professor Nond is celebrated for introducing groundbreaking procedures to Thailand and for his mastery of complex techniques. His notable achievements include:

  • A pioneer in introducing endoscopic brow lift and facelift techniques to Thailand, for both aesthetic enhancement and migraine treatment.
  • The first surgeon in Thailand to utilize Endotine implants.
Hands-on Workshop on Endoscopic Forehead Lift

To share his expertise, Professor Nond organized a hands-on workshop on Endoscopic Brow Lift at Chulalongkorn University on July 7, 2011. This event, the first plastic surgery hands-on cadaver workshop in Thailand, was a resounding success, with all seats booked within two days. He also took this opportunity to introduce Endotine implants to his surgical colleagues.

  • A nationally recognized expert in complex facial bone contouring procedures.
  • A pioneer in advanced breast surgery techniques, as the first surgeon in Thailand to perform endoscopic breast augmentation (2003), endoscopic capsule removal, and en-bloc implant removal (2018).
  • Due to the volume and high quality of his breast augmentation procedures, Mentor, the manufacturer of breast implants, appointed him as the Asia-Pacific representative on the Mentor Global Educational Council during the period of 2013-2015.
  • The first surgeon in Thailand to introduce the use of PTFE (Gore-Tex) for nose and chin augmentation in 2007. (Note: Gore-Tex for facial augmentation is no longer available).
  • Selected by the Vaser liposuction machine distributor to test and evaluate its quality upon its initial introduction to Thailand.

Scope of Work

His cosmetic surgery practice encompasses a comprehensive range of procedures for the face and body, tailored to meet the unique aesthetic goals of each patient:

  • Eyelid surgery (e.g., blepharoplasty, ptosis correction).
  • Nose surgery (e.g., reduction, augmentation with bone, silicone, or PTFE, which is often mistakenly called Gore-Tex).
  • Facelift (e.g., conventional, endoscopic midface and forehead, and SMAS lifts).
  • Facial contouring (e.g., mandibular angle resection, malar reduction, chin surgery, forehead contouring, buccal fat removal).
  • Breast surgery (e.g., reduction, augmentation, lift, en-bloc implant removal, post-cancer reconstruction, gynecomastia).
  • Ear surgery (otoplasty).
  • Body contouring (e.g., abdominoplasty, liposuction, lower body lift).
